Meet Our Staff
Diana Wright Stubbs, Director of Ministries, has been with Mission for Area People since May 2, 2003. Prior to coming to MAP, Diana worked 14 years at Love Inc. The past 23 years of working in the non –profit field has been a blessing beyond words. Having been a single mom raising two children on her own, working part time jobs, and caring for a terminally ill child, Diana knows the struggles people face on a daily basis’, having been there herself. Diana feels this is the work God has groomed her to do. Diana has a son Matthew, who is 33 and single. Her daughter Carrie Ann Wright passed away in 1987 of a brain tumor. Diana married husband Les in 1995. He has 3 daughters from previous marriages. Cheryl Kelenske is our newest employee as of January 3, 2011. Cheryl had been a volunteer in our office for the last 6 months of 2010. Cheryl lives in Norton Shores and has two grown children: Jeff and Jennifer. She previously worked 36 years at the Credit Bureau of Greater Muskegon as the Department Manager. More recently she worked as an Administrative Assistant for an Insurance Agency located in Muskegon. Bill Jandt is our new Custodian at Mission for Area People since mid October, 2011. Bill has lived in Muskegon all his life. He and his wife Margaret have been married for 43 years and attend Trinity Lutheran Church. They have 2 children and 4 grandchildren. He has been a 20 year volunteer for Toys For Tots of Muskegon County, Muskegon Old Newsies, and volunteers for the Muskegon Summer Celebration. I enjoy working at MAP because it lets me help those in need. It makes me feel good to see the people smile and say “Thanks” when they receive food and clothing.
