Mission for Area People is helping local kids (Grades K–12) step into the school year with new shoes!

Today was the second sign-up day for our annual back-to-school “Happy Feet” program!

We were honored to meet 253 children over the last two registration days who arrived with hopes of receiving properly fitting shoes for the upcoming school year.

Thanks to the generous support of our community, we were able to provide VIP shopping passes to 150 kids for our August event at Shoe Carnival.

That means we still have many little feet to fill! We now have a waiting list of 103 kiddo's with one more registration date to go this coming Monday.
